History of Utusan Malaysia
Utusan Malaysia is the Malay language newspaper which first published in 1939 in the "Jawi" alphabet. Earlier, it was known as Utusan Melayu and became a medium for Malaysians to express their views on the British administration. Until today, the Malay language is used for the writing since the first day as Malay language has been listed as the national language in the Malaysian constitution.
